Biography:
Dr. Dinah R. Herrick, PhD, MSN/Ed, RN, is a Full Professor of Nursing at California Baptist University, where she has taught since 2009. She earned her PhD in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University after progressing from LVN to ADN-RN, BSN, and MSN in Nursing Education. Her clinical experience includes ICU/CCU, PACU, nursing leadership, and 15 years in wound and ostomy care. Her teaching and scholarship focus on gerontology, nursing ethics, leadership, cancer and ostomy care, and inclusive pathways into academic nursing leadership. As a Filipino-American immigrant, she mentors future nurses and advocates for culturally responsive leadership in nursing education.
